Bio-Identical Hormone replacement therapy:
Bio-identical hormone replacement (BHRT) refers to the therapeutic use of hormones that are identical in every way to the hormones produced naturally in the body. Bio-identical hormones used in BHRT include estradiol, estrone, estriol, testosterone, and progesterone. These hormones are prescription and compounded through a specialty pharmacy for each individual.
